Mom has found another way to help pets who need a forever home.
You can sponsor a shelter pet!
It does not require a long term commitment,
nor does it have to be a monetary contribution.
Some of the pets who need sponsors only ask for food,
or a new collar or leash, or a toy to play with.
Of course they are ultimately looking for their forever home,
but if you can help make their stay at their
temporary home a little happier - how can you cay no?
It was so easy, that we are now Guardian Angels
for five dogs who are waiting for new homes.

12/18/00 UPDATE ON BEATRICE!
Margaret, a volunteer at ARF sent us this update:
Beatrice is doing very well and has made a new best friend! It was believed that Beatrice would not do well with ANY female dog until she started being friends with Samantha - a Dalmatian puppy, whose photo I've enclosed. Now that they've discovered one another they can't spend enough time together! They play and play and play! Also, Beatrice was a perfect lady at the ARF Christmas party last Saturday. She mixed and mingled and was quite the party girl. I've enclosed a new photo of Beatrice as well as that of Samantha.
